The following presentations were made at the "Economics of Prevention: Developing a Framework for Policy Analysis" Workshop on 13 March 2009. At this workshop academics in Economics and Health Policy with broad experience in healthcare settings presented on a number of issues to do with health promotion, prevention and early intervention in government policy settings. Measuring Quality of Life Workshop 25 July 2008

The following presentations were made at the "Measuring Quality of Life in Economic Evaluation: Which Way Forward?" Workshop on 25 July 2008. At this workshop representatives from Academia, Industry, and Government presented on a number of issues to do with measuring "quality of life". Quality of life is an intangible measure of general wellbeing often used in Health Economics to quality-adjust outcomes in economic evaluations of new health care interventions and technologies.
