Physical Activity, Nutrition and Obesity Research Group (PANORG)
The Physical Activity Nutrition Obesity Research Group (PANORG) is a research group with specialised expertise in obesity prevention, nutrition and physical activity. It is funded by NSW Health to undertake policy-relevant research in order to guide their efforts to improve the health of the people of NSW.
This website describes our research and presents new evidence about promoting nutrition and physical activity, and preventing obesity in adults and children.
Health professionals, policymakers, students and community members can find: basic information about nutrition, physical activity and obesity prevention; descriptions of our research studies, references and copies of reports; copies of newsletters which provide brief research updates and press releases on topics of public interest and debate.
