On the road
During 2012 and 2013 an exhibition of works from the Growing Up with Cancer project toured Australia, spending time at eight venues including hospitals, community, art and education spaces. Twenty-two self-portraits are represented in the exhibition, including one suite of music. People involved in the project came together to celebrate the amazing art works at events at Riverside Theatres Parramatta, Federation Square, Melbourne, and Downing Centre, Sydney. Have a look at photos of the exhibitions in situ and watch speeches from some of the artists, researchers and partners involved in the project.
The final Australian exhibition will take place in Wallsend Library, Newcastle from 22 October to 1 December 2013.
