Sydney Nursing School calendar
An overview of what is scheduled for each of the calendar weeks for the whole year, with dates included. It includes teaching days, residential, clinical, supplementary clinical, seminars, stuvac, AVCC week, public holidays and more.
University semester dates
Includes first and last days of lectures, summer and winter schools, last day to enrol or add a unit of study, orientation, HECS census dates, application closing dates and more.
The last day students can add/enrol in a unit of study for Semester 2, 2012 is 10 August. It is too late to add a unit of study for Semester 1.
Census dates
These are the deadlines to add/drop/vary your enrolment. The Census Date is the last day students can withdraw from a unit of study without facing a financial and academic penalty.
In Semester 1, 2012, the Census Date was 31 March. In Semester 2, the deadline will be 31 August. After this, there are further deadlines which relate to academic penalties for withdrawing – further information regarding these deadlines can be found at the Timetable Unit website.
Students enrolled in NURS6001–NURS6008
If you are enrolled in units of study NURS6001NURS6008 you will receive your timetables via email the week before classes.
Semester 1 units commence early in Week -3
Semester 2 units commence in Week -2

Personal timetables for students enrolled in pre-registration units of study with codes commencing NURS 5, are administered by the Timetable Unit. On the Timetable Unit site, you will find instructions on:

Prior to collecting your timetable, you can also see an overview of the scheduling of units of study by entering the unit code in the search bar.
Please note that Sydney Nursing School staff are unable to take timetable requests.
