RECENT SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Sydney Nursing School and University of Sydney scholarships
There are a number of Sydney Nursing School scholarships which are in the main, based on merit. All students will be eligible for consideration, and your academic results will be accessed at the beginning of Semester 1 each year, to determine the successful scholarship recipients. The University of Sydney also offers a large number of scholarships to undergraduate and postgraduate students, to Indigenous Australians and international students.
External scholarships and grants
There are a number of external organisations which offer scholarships to students in the areas of nursing and midwifery. You can view these by organisation.
Details: In order to be eligible, applicants must be in continuing full-time study in a Commonwealth Supported Place (HECS liable) and be an Australian citizen. Applications for this scholarship are made through The Scholarships Office, University of Sydney.
For: Currently enrolled students who have successfully completed their first and/or second year of study (ie at least 48 credit points) in an undergraduate degree (combined Master of Nursing permitted) at the University of Sydney and who can demonstrate financial disadvantage
