Faculty of Pharmacy Learning and Teaching

The Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Sydney has a long history of excellence in pharmacy education. Guided by its strategic plan, the Faculty is commencing a period of significant growth in all areas, particularly in the area of learning and teaching, and the Pharmacy Education Unit is a key component of this development. The Faculty has an active Learning and Teaching Committee, and promotes and rewards excellence in teaching – particularly through annual Teaching Awards; and encourages educational innovation, research-led teaching, and research of pharmacy student learning. A wide range of educational projects are underway or planned, examples of which are outlined on this site. Several academic staff also hold education qualifications, and the Faculty is active in educational publication.
