Once you have submitted your application online, you’ll receive an acknowledgement email. After the closing date, the Selection Committee will meet to review and discuss all applications and agree on a shortlist, after which you will be notified of the status of your application. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted to arrange interviews, and there may be several rounds – firstly over the phone and secondly face-to-face.
For academic positions, you may also be invited to present a lecture/seminar, and stay in Sydney for several days to meet school/faculty members. Once the interviews are completed, the Selection Committee makes its final decision. Depending on the role, references may be called prior to or post interview. Please note: we may contact your referees during the recruitment process without notifying you in advance.
The University is an equal opportunity employer committed to equity, diversity and social inclusion. Applications from equity target groups are encouraged.
