The processes for applying and managing funding will vary according to the type of funding organisation to which you are applying. Different processes also apply depending on whether you are seeking funding for research or a consultancy.

Government or non-commercial

If you are seeking funding for either research or a consultancy from a government or non-commercial agency, the Research Grants Administration and Funding (RGAF) group can assist you.

Government and non-commercial agencies include:

  • Government departments
  • ARC
  • NHMRC
  • non-for-profit organisations
  • other universities
  • charities and
  • public research funding bodies such as Rural Research and Development Corporations (RDCs), research corporations and research foundations.

Industry or commercial

If you are seeking funding for either research or a consultancy from an industry or commercial agency, Sydnovate can help you.
