University of Sydney Access Scholarships

For: Students with a good ATAR or an excellent AAM who have been disadvantaged financially or medically or are from a rural or remote background. Preference will be given to students with financial disadvantage.
Value: $6,000 per annum.
Duration: Length of degree.

We know that students who overcome disadvantage can achieve excellent results at university, especially with support from the University. Access Scholarships assist academically gifted students with demonstrated financial disadvantage to pursue their tertiary education. If you are currently financially disadvantaged (for example, if you are receiving Youth Allowance or some other means-tested Commonwealth benefit), if you have financial difficulties due to a disability or other disadvantage, or if you expect to be financially disadvantaged whilst at the University, we recommend you apply through 'UAC's Equity Scholarships' application. You can apply at any stage of your degree, and they are available for any undergraduate degree.
