Suspending your scholarship - If you are holding a University of Sydney Merit, Entry, Access, Outstanding Achievement or Honours Scholarship you may suspend your scholarship for a maximum of one year. Please complete the following form and return to the Scholarships and Financial Support Service: University of Sydney Scholarship Suspension Form

Studying Part-time - If you are holding a University of Sydney Merit, Entry, Access, Outstanding Achievement or Honours Scholarship, you can apply to hold your scholarship on a part-time study load. This arrangement is intended to support students in exceptional circumstances such as illness or disability, or significant carer commitments. Part-time scholarships are paid at half the full-time amount. If you wish to hold your scholarship part-time, please complete the following form and return to the Scholarships and Financial Support Service: University of Sydney Part-time Form

COMMONWEALTH SCHOLARSHIPS


Studying part-time - Generally, a student undertaking less than a full-time study load (less than 18 credit points) is not eligible for a Commonwealth Scholarship unless there are exceptional circumstances. If you are have exceptional circumstances that prevent you from studying full-time please complete the following form and return to the Scholarships and Financial Support Service: Commonwealth Scholarship Part-Time Form

SHOW CAUSE (FOR UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS)


Haven’t met the minimum academic requirement of scholarship - If you have not met the minimum academic requirement you will be asked to ‘show cause’. This is a process whereby you explain to the University the reasons for non-adherence. Supporting evidence will aid your case.
