University of Sydney Scholar Chancellors Award

Madeline Greer

“The Scholarship enabled me to move from my home town, Dubbo, to study among a group of high-calibre students and learn from world-class lecturers. My faculty scholarships have also given me the opportunities to study abroad in two of the most exciting global cities – London and Shanghai – which has added depth and real-world international experience to my degree.”

The University of Sydney Scholar Chancellor's Award is awarded to domestic students who demonstrate an outstanding performance in their Year 12 results, achieving an ATAR (or equivalent) of 99.95 or above.

These scholarships are awarded automatically following the release of ATAR results, provided the students are current school leavers and have a University of Sydney course on their UAC application preferences.

This scholarship is worth $10,000 per annum for the duration of an undergraduate degree (including combined undergraduate degrees). This scholarship can be deferred for up to two years.

In addition, recipients will receive priority access to accommodation near campus and leadership programs.

All recipients of this scholarship are expected to maintain an excellent academic record, with a Distinction Level Semester Average Mark (75).

New Zealand students applying through UAC for entry into university are eligible for this scholarship.

International students are not eligible.
