Student Appeals Body
If, having exhausted the faculty-level appeal process, you are not satisfied with the written decision of your faculty, and you believe that due academic process was not followed by the faculty in making the decision, you may appeal to the Student Appeals Body (SAB).
In order to do so, you must fill in the Appeals against an Academic Decision/Exclusion application form and attach it to a written appeal letter.
- Appeals against an Academic Decision/Exclusion application form (Word doc version)
- Appeals against an Academic Decision/Exclusion application form (PDF version)
Your written appeal must be lodged with the Student Affairs Unit within 20 business days of the date of the written decision of the dean, or within such extended time as the Registrar, in his or her absolute discretion, authorises. If you require an extension, please contact the Student Affairs Unit before the deadline to appeal has expired and explain why you believe an extension should be granted.
There are three ways you can lodge your appeal:
Student Appeals Box (located in the foyer of the Student Centre)
Level 3, Jane Foss Russell Building, G02

Level 5, Jane Foss Russell Building, G02
