The process for an academic appeal
There are three escalating stages to the University's academic appeals process. At each of these stages the University will address student appeals in a procedurally fair and reasonable manner, having regard to the principles of timeliness, confidentiality, absence of bias and freedom from victimisation.
It is important that you familiarise yourself with the different stages of the academic appeals process. Each stage is administered by different bodies within the University and, depending upon which stage of appeal you are up to, you will need to submit your appeal to the appropriate University body. Failure to do so could delay the processing of your appeal.
