Henry Lawson's While the billy boils

The Lawson project stems from an Australian Reseach Council grant entitled 'The transition from print to electronic textuality in the scholarly editing of Australian literature: practice and theory', awarded to Professor Paul Eggert of the University of New South Wales and Professor Elizabeth Webby of the University of Sydney.

The publication output from the project includes 2 books: Biography of a book: Henry Lawson's While the billy boils by Paul Eggert, and Henry Lawson's While the billy boils: the original newspaper versions, edited by Paul Eggert, with explanatory notes by Elizabeth Webby.

Biography of a book: Henry Lawson's While the billy boils will be co-published with The Penn State University Press, under their History of the Book series, edited by James West.

The books will be released in hard cover and soft cover, and also in eBook versions. The stories from While the billy boils will also be available individually.
