Business School International Scholarships

Rewarding the world's brightest minds
The University of Sydney Business School is committed to helping our international students achieve their education goals. These scholarships will reward exceptional students with the opportunity to study abroad in Australia.

A total of 85 scholarships ranging from $5,000, $10,000 and $20,000 will be awarded each year to commencing international undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students.

We are offering scholarships to students coming to study with us from Bangladesh. Some of our Bangladeshi Business School graduates have gone on to work at Deloitte, Unilever and Telecom.

We are offering scholarships to students coming to study with us from Indonesia. We have over 320 Business School graduates from Indonesia who have gone on to work at Deloitte, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, BHP and Spotify.

We are offering scholarships to students coming to study with us from Malaysia. We have over 270 Business School graduates from Malaysia who have gone on to work at PwC, Ernst & Young, AMP and Telecom.

We're supporting future Malaysian leaders through the Young Leaders Program, which aims to enable students to develop intercultural awareness, leadership and communication skills.

We are offering scholarships to students coming to study with us from the Philippines. We have over 60 Filipino Business School graduates who have gone on to work in a range of industries including media, advertising, retail, finance, consulting and education.

We are offering scholarships to students coming to study with us from Singapore. We have over 330 Business School graduates from Singapore who have gone on to work at Ernst & Young, Deloitte, KPMG, Ogilvy and Bank of America.

We are offering scholarships to students coming to study with us from South Korea. We have over 260 Business School graduates from South Korea who have gone on to work at Sony, PwC, Korea Fair Trade Commission and Shinhan Card.

We're supporting future South Korean leaders through the Young Leaders Program, which aims to enable students to develop intercultural awareness, leadership and communication skills.

We are offering scholarships to students coming to study with us from Thailand. We have over 190 Thai Business School graduates who have gone on to work in a range of industries including manufacturing, consulting, IT, government, transport and finance.

We're supporting future Thai leaders through the Young Leaders Program, which aims to enable students to develop intercultural awareness, leadership and communication skills.

We are offering scholarships to students coming to study with us from Vietnam. We have over 210 Vietnamese Business School graduates who have gone on to work in a range of industries including consulting, finance, education, retail and not for profit organisations.

If you not from one of the above countries, you are still eligible to receive one of our Business School International Scholarships.

To qualify for this scholarship, you must not be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or an Australian permanent resident.

Key dates

To qualify for a Business School International Scholarship, you must receive an unconditional offer of admission before the following dates:

Semester 1 2020
Round 1 4 October 2019
Round 2 6 December 2019
Round 3 17 January 2020

Eligibility

To be eligible for the scholarships, applicants must be:

  • a new Business School student
  • a commencing undergraduate or postgraduate coursework student.

The scholarships do not apply to:

  • students applying to the MBA or research degrees
  • Australian and New Zealand citizens or Australian permanent residents.

How to apply

No separate application is required.

All eligible applicants with an unconditional offer by the specified dates above will be considered for a scholarship. Scholarships will be awarded based on academic merit, and the value will be deducted from your tuition fees.
