Core requirements

To qualify for the award of the pass degree in the of the Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Performance), a candidate must successully complete 240 credit points comprising:
(i) 102 credit points of of Specialisation units including:
(a) 72 credit points of Principal Study units;
(b) 30 credit points of Performance/Ensemble units;
(ii) 30 credit points of core units, including:
(a) 18 credit points of Harmony and Analysis and Aural Perception units;
(b) 18 credit points of Analysis, History and Culture Studies units;
(iii) 6 credit points of units in the Open Learning Environment as specified in Table O;
(iv) a major (48 credit points) from Table S;
(v) a minimum of 24 credit points at 4000 level from a Specialisation or Table S, including a research, community, industry or entrepreneurship project of at least 12 credit points and up to 36 credit points;
(vi) where appropriate, elective units from a Specialisation or Table S.
