Vice Chancellor of National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Dr. Sudhir Krishnaswamy and Dean and Head of Sydney Law School, Professor Simon Bronitt acknowledged a shared vision in creating pathways for collaboration between two law schools when they signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) this month.
The University of Sydney Law School and NLSIU signed the MoU with the vision of strengthening relationships and furthering collaboration between the two institutions.
Simon Bronitt said “The University of Sydney Law School is delighted and honoured to announce its new partnership with the National Law School of India University, Bangalore; the MOU signed by our VC Professor Mark Scott coincides with his visit next week to India, accompanying our Federal Minister for Education, to discuss and forge closer ties with Indian research and educational institutions”.
The partnership will explore opportunities of mutual benefit such as academic staff visits between law schools to participate in teaching, training and research collaboration, student mobility programs and other joint activities.
