Caricatures of Faculty by Lionel Lindsay, 1916

In 1916, the student medical society (now known as MedSoc) commissioned Sydney artist and cartoonist, Lionel Lindsay, to produce a series of caricatures to illustrate the pages of their medical journals and other publications. The caricatures were reprinted many times over for decades. Some originals are now part of the University of Sydney Art Collection, whilst many of the original sketches are missing from the University.
