Our staff, students and alumni collaborate and perform throughout Asia, Europe and the Americas.
Our global community is vital – Conservatorium graduates and partners around the world keeping us connected to the international music community.
To reach our global mobility targets and to ensure our students are learning from the best, we have formed partnerships with music schools around the world. This gives our students opportunities including:
Studying music abroad is the perfect accompaniment to a degree at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. Our exchange program offers our students the unique opportunity to experience music in a different culture and expand their global network of friends.
Students can benefit from the extensive range of University-wide and faculty-specific study abroad and exchange programs. With many universities and music schools to choose from, you can make a selection to suit your academic and intellectual passions.
We are a founding member of the Pacific Alliance of Music Schools and meet every April with our international partner schools to discuss collaborations and student and research projects.
Our Dean also regularly meets with groups such as the Southeast Asian Directors of Music Association and the Global Music Education League.
We are also a member of the International Benchmarking Exercise, together with eight other conservatories in Manchester, Oslo, Singapore, Boston, Graz, Geneva, the Hague and Bangkok.
