Depending on the interests of the student, the focus will include genetics and genomics, light and electron microscopy, immunohistochemistry, and physiological techniques, which will deepen our understanding of the processes that take place during fish reproduction and the evolution of pregnancy.
The ideal candidates will have a strong academic record and a graduate degree in Biology, Zoology, Physiology, Genetics/Genomics, or a related field.
We also offer other opportunities to examine the reproductive biology of reptiles and mammals, and welcome students with their own research proposals in areas related to our work. Please email me for more information.
