Submissions for the Hoodie design competition have now closed.
Has making friends at Sydney changed your life? Has joining a club or society led you to discover new passions? Has coming to Sydney opened new doors?
Whatever it may be, we want you to show us how the University of Sydney has made it happen for you with your own design.
Enter the ‘Make it happen' hoodie design competition by Sunday 11 August 2024 for the chance to have your design featured on a limited-edition University of Sydney hoodie and win $1000 in the form of a gift-card.

Your design will be printed on the back of a white hoodie. It will need to:
If you're using design software, please save an editable version of your design (for example, Photoshop, InDesign or Illustrator file) in case minor changes are needed to ensure the design can be printed.
Use the hoodie design template (pdf, 373KB) as a guide.
All currently enrolled University of Sydney students who are over 18 years of age can enter the 'Make it happen' hoodie design competition.
The competition launches on Monday 29 July and will close on Sunday 11 August.
There will be two rounds of judging for the competition.
Round one: Monday 12 August - Friday 16 August.
Entries will be judged by the Marketing and Communications team and the University of Sydney Union (USU).
Shortlisted participants will be notified by their nominated email address on Monday 19 August.
Round 2: Tuesday 3 September – Wednesday 4 September
The selected shortlisted designs will then go to a 'People's choice' selection on Tuesday 3 September, where the entrant with the most votes on the University of Sydney's Instagram channel by Wednesday 4 September, will win the competition.
The winner and runner-up will be announced via our Instagram on Monday 9 September.
The hoodie with the winning design can be purchased from USU stores approximately three weeks after the winning design has been selected.
