Accounting & Financial Management introduces financial reporting and is the gateway unit of study to further study in accounting. This unit builds on the accounting context presented in BUSS1030 Accounting, Business & Society to develop the technical skills required to record business transactions through accounting systems. In addition to its technical focus, the unit of study specifically aims to give students an understanding of the way in which accounting information can be used in financial management and analysis, as well as developing professional skills that are necessary in the business world.
