ARBC6010: Arabic Language Acquisition 1
2025 unit information
This unit of study gives students an opportunity to begin or improve their proficiency in Arabic language in order to deepen their understanding of Arabic cultures and societies. Students will develop comprehensive linguistic skills in speaking, listening, reading and writing of both modern standard and vernacular Arabic. In addition, analysis of the structure of the language and its sociocultural context will enhance their knowledge and understanding of the societies in which the language is utilised.
