This unit provides a critical environment for discussion and debate around a range of twenty first century exhibition practices, and assists Master of Fine Arts students with the practical skills required for exhibition concept and design. The weekly seminars address the current professional exhibition possibilities for exhibiting artwork, including artist run spaces, museums and regional galleries, virtual galleries and social networking environments. Students also examine the range of publishing formats that surround exhibitions, and explore practical exhibition design, through a range of 2D and 3D design software that assists the design, planning and visualisation of exhibitions.
