This unit provides advanced training at the postgraduate level in clinical prosthodontics. Students undertake advanced clinical care of patients under supervision. Development of skills in diagnosis, treatment planning; prognosis and management of advanced cases requiring multidisciplinary oral rehabilitative care. The focus of the 2nd year is on the diagnosis, prescription, planning and delivery of the initial phases, preprosthodontic surgical phases of straightforward and advanced cases generally requiring conformative occlusal prosthodontic rehabilitation. Students may be required to attend classes at multiple locations.
