The subject will offer students an introduction to advanced conceptions of drum set technique, rhythmic and developmental process, and a range of problem-solving skills, thus equipping students with a broad skill set to face challenges associated within an ever changing and evolving music industry landscape. In addition, students will be provided with a broad historical perspective, as well as a large pool of advanced creative co-ordination processes associated with a range of stylistic areas to equip individuals with a thorough grounding in time-keeping, motion-based problem solving, stylistic knowledge and ability, and procedural problem-solving and critical thinking.
