This unit of study focuses on the knowledge, skills and capabilities required by registered nurses for the advanced clinical assessment of patients. Students will further develop their comprehensive nursing assessment of patients and thereby understanding of the related biological and psychosocial determinants of health and wellbeing. The unit will also focus on the translation of comprehensive assessment to facilitate evidence-based nursing practice.
