Camden Campus

What is there?

The extensive farms and research units at Camden campus are used by agriculture and veterinary science students.

The Faculty of Veterinary Science operates a general veterinary clinic and teaching hospital on campus.

The town of Camden is 65km southwest of Sydney.

Getting there

By bus
A courtesy bus service links Camden Campus to Campbelltown railway station, operating from Monday to Friday during semester (not including public holidays). The bus has University of Sydney branding on its sides and front and is driven by a uniformed Campus Security officer.

Buses follow the following schedule:

Departing Camden Campus (Plant Breeding Institute, Shute Building and Camden Library)

  • Morning: 6.40am, 8am, 9.30am
  • Afternoon: 4.10pm, 6.10pm, 7.10pm

Departing Campbelltown Railway Station (western side)

  • Morning: 7.20am, 8.50am, 10am
  • Afternoon: 5.10pm, 6.45pm, 7.40pm
