Sydney College of the Arts (SCA) at Rozelle Campus

What is there?

Sydney College of the Arts is the visual arts college of the University and occupies historic sandstone buildings set in beautiful and spacious grounds on the edge of the harbour at Rozelle.

The students on this campus use world-class facilities for creating contemporary art within the studio areas of ceramics, film & digital art, glass, jewellery & object, painting, print media, photo media, and sculpture.

Getting there

By bus from the city
Bus numbers 500, 501, 504, 506, 507, 510, 515, 518, 520 and the M52 leave from Circular Quay in the city, turn at the Queen Victoria Building and travel across the Anzac Bridge to Victoria Road (except for the 501) and stop on Victoria Road, Rozelle (alight at the Darling St traffic lights) just 1 kilometer from the campus. The 501 travels via Harris Street, past the Powerhouse Museum and the Sydney Fish Markets.

Bus number 440 also leaves from Circular Quay in the city and travels along Paramatta Road past the Camperdown/Darlington campus, then along Balmain Road.

By bus – cross routes
Route 445 runs between Balmain and Canterbury Station, alight on Balmain Rd for Rozelle campus.


SCA provides designated areas for students and visitor parking. Students and staff purchase an annual parking sticker from the cashier for a nominal fee.
