Chinese Media Studies Symposium 2009

Convened by: Professor Stephanie Hemelryk Donald (MECO) and Dr Haiqing Yu (UNSW)

Find out how China is shaping the field of media and communication. Leading Australian and international academics from both Chinese and media studies will be discussing this question from their own research experience. The symposium will also include a special video-link debate with Dr Lijun Zhang, Chairman of VODone Group and Adjunct Professor of MECO. Dr Zhang will speak about the Chinese media conglomerate VODone and the development of online media services and the new media sector in China.
