"Delivering Death: Capital Punishment and the American News Media"

Speaker: Dr Chris Greer, Division of Sociology and Criminology, Northumbria University.

Dr Christopher Greer is a senior lecturer in Criminology in the Division of Sociology and Criminology, School of Arts and Social Sciences, Northumbria University, UK. Dr Greer’s research focuses mainly on media constructions of crime, control and social order. Dr Greer will present a paper entitled "Delivering Death: Capital Punishment and the American News Media".
