Council For Australian - Arab Relations 2016
Thanks to the generosity of the Council for Australia-Arab Relations and Department of Media and Communications, Joanna spent 4 weeks in Dubai undertaking internships at The Gulf News.

Australia-Japan Foundation Fellow 2016
Andrew was selected as one of two Australia Japan Foundation Fellows for 2016. His AJF fellowship and time at the Aashi Shinbun newspaper allowed him to experience his first authentic step in to the Japanese working world.

For one month in February 2016 Emily interned with the Tokyo Bureau of Agence France Press, thanks to the Australia Japan Foundation and the University of Sydney’s Department of Media and Communications.

Australia-Korea Foundation Fellow 2016
Harnsle spent January 2015 in Seoul working at TbS eFM thanks to Australia Korea Foundation. The internship allowed her to enhance her journalistic skills, experience and confidence. Harnsle had always wanted to integrate working in Korea into her career.

Thanks to the generosity of the Australia Korea Foundation, Jackeline spent six “life changing” weeks in Seoul, interning with TBS eFm radio on the This Morning Program.

Australia Malaysia Institute (AMI) Fellows 2015
Shaza was one of two students selected as Australia Malaysian Institute Fellows for 2015.Her AMI fellowship greatly improved her knowledge and skills in media and communications.

Australia-Thailand Institute (ATI) Fellows 2015
Ada spent five weeks Interning at the Bangkok Post and Australian Embassy. This was an eye opening experience for her and solidified her passion for pursuing journalism in Asia.

Jessica spent 6 weeks in Tokyo undertaking internships at Agence France-Presse (AFP) and the Japan News which were unforgettable experiences that enhanced her understanding of global audiences.

Ellen spent January 2015 in China working at the Beijing Review thanks to the Australia China Council. The internship allowed her to enhance her journalistic skills, experience and confidence.

For 5 weeks in early 2015 Elliot spent a month interning at The Korea Herald in Seoul which has ignited in him a a desire to work internationally.
