Continuing student enrolment
This site provides information on continuing student enrolment, and will guide you through the process of enrolling for the coming academic year.
Online continuing student enrolment for 2014 has now closed.
Continuing students who have not yet enrolled for 2014 should email their faculty or school to discuss alternative enrolment arrangements.
If you are a coursework student please include any units of study you wish to undertake throughout the year.
You have now been issued email confirming your successful enrolment or with advice that your unit of study choices do not meet the progression rules that apply to your course of study and you were not able to be enrolled for 2014.
My enrolment has been assessed as successful
Coursework students should carefully check their enrolled units of study through MyUni (click ADMIN, then Enrolment Variations 2014).
If you are not currently enrolled in your full set of choices, this may be due to pre- or co-requisite requirements not being satisfied. Please contact your faculty to discuss alternatives.
Students with fees to pay should access a Statement of Fees through MyUni (click ADMIN, Financial Information, then 2014). Statements are no longer posted and are accessible online from 2014.
Any outstanding semester liability must be paid by the due by date as shown on your statement.
My enrolment has been unsuccessful
If your 2014 unit of study choices are not approved you will need to reconsider your study selections and enrol in-person.
Faculty-specific instructions can be found on the 2014 Enrolment Instructions for Continuing Students Whose Unit of Study Choices have Not Met Progression Rules (126KB PDF).
Please refer to those instructions and ensure that you attend your in-person enrolment session as indicated on the schedule.
Student Campus Cards
Your 2014 Student Campus Card will be mailed to your nominated Australian correspondence address by 31 March 2014 if your online enrolment was successful.
If you have nominated an overseas address as your correspondence address, your card will be held for collection by the Campus Card Centre. For more information on card collection arrangements, visit the Campus Card Centre website.
If you have any questions regarding your enrolment or unit of study choices please contact your faculty.
Varying your enrolment
Enrolment variation will open through MyUni from 10 February 2014.
I intend to transfer, suspend or discontinue my studies in 2014
If you are applying to transfer to another award course via the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) or internally, contact your current faculty for advice concerning your enrolment arrangements.
If you wish to suspend your current enrolment you must apply through your faculty office.
If you enrol successfully and later decide not to continue with your enrolment in 2014, you MUST advise your faculty office in writing no later than the relevant census date.
International students must also advise the International Office no later than the relevant census date.
If you do not advise your faculty in writing by the relevant census date, your candidature will lapse and you will incur financial and academic penalties.
I want to change my payment option
If you are an eligible Commonwealth supported and/or assisted student and want to change your payment option for 2014 you must attend the Student Centre (Health Science students, go to Student Central). You cannot change your payment option through the online enrolment process.
Student Visa holders
Under ESOS legislation, student visa holders are required to complete their course within the duration specified on their electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCoE). Student visa holders are therefore required to be enrolled in a full-time study load of 24 credit points per semester. However there are exceptional circumstances where a student visa holder may apply to reduce his or her study load.
Further information can be found on the Student visas website.
