The University of Sydney Business School subject areas

Accounting

For the award of a major in Accounting, students complete:
(i) 18 credit points in junior units of study: BUSS1030, ACCT1006 and BUSS1020* (or ECMT1010);
(ii) 12 credit points in compulsory senior units of study: ACCT2011 and ACCT2012; and
(iii) a minimum of 24 credit points in elective senior units of study.
* Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce and related combined degrees must complete BUSS1020 as it is a core unit for their programs, rather than the ECMT alternative.
