GLOW

Please be on time for GLOW as there is a complete lock-out and latecomers will not be permitted
Dance and technology collide in this hugely inventive performance by one of Australia’s leading dance companies, Chunky Move. Fresh from the 2010 Venice Biennale, Glow is their groundbreaking and internationally renowned work featuring the latest in multi-media technology.
Beneath the glow of a sophisticated video tracking system, a lone dancer morphs through various emotional and physical states, while a digital landscape is generated in response to the dancer’s movement. The body’s gestures are extended by and in turn manipulate the video world that surrounds it, rendering no two performances exactly the same.
Glow will light up the Inner West’s favourite arts hub for four nights only, with two performances a day from Wed 13 – Sat 16 October 2010.
