SSEAC offers membership options for undergraduate and postgraduate students from the University of Sydney and other universities.

Student membership

 

To qualify for student membership you must be:

  • Enrolled as an undergraduate or in a coursework Masters program at the University of Sydney. There is no requirement to be studying Southeast Asia to join under this category.

If you are a student from another university, you can apply for associate membership

Student members will:

  • Be eligible to participate in relevant SSEAC events
  • Be eligible to apply for targeted SSEAC funding
  • Receive the SSEAC Newsletter and targeted student communications

Associate student members will:

  • Be given priority access to relevant SSEAC events (eg language training, seminars etc)
  • Receive the SSEAC Newsletter and targeted student communications

Research student membership

 

To qualify for research student membership you must:

  • Be enrolled in a PhD, Research Masters and Honours program enrolled at the University of Sydney working on one or more of the countries of Southeast Asia.

If you are a PhD, research Masters or Honours student from another university, you are eligible to apply for associate membership.

Research student members will:

  • Be eligible to participate in relevant SSEAC events
  • Be eligible to apply for targeted SSEAC funding
  • Receive the SSEAC Bulletin, the SSEAC Newsletter and targeted student communications

Associate research student members will:

  • Be given priority access to relevant SSEAC events (eg language training, seminars etc)
  • Receive the SSEAC Bulletin, SSEAC Newsletter and targeted student communications
