About the Faculty of Health Sciences

The Faculty of Health Sciences is a world leader in health science research and education.

We are known for excellence. Students are at the centre of our education, and people at the centre of our research. We provide an engaging and stimulating student-centred education environment, attracting the best students and researchers nationally and internationally. We offer undergraduate and master's courses and three majors across seven disciplines.

We collaborate with external partners and engage with real-world problems to anticipate the health issues of tomorrow while overcoming the challenges of today. Our high-impact research is acknowledged and translated into practice and policy nationally and internationally. Our multidisciplinary research themes and centres reflect the strength, diversity and depth of our research. Our master's and PhD research degrees offer the opportunity to work alongside our world-leading researchers.

Our graduates are global citizens who solve issues critical to health and wellbeing.

We engage in key issues, such as healthcare reform and strive to achieve the best possible health and wellbeing outcomes for the whole community.

This is our vision for tomorrow’s leaders in health.

Our campus is currently based at Cumberland. In 2020, we will join the Faculty of Medicine and Health as a school, and move to the purpose-built Health Precinct at the University of Sydney's Camperdown Campus in 2021.

Relocation
We'll be moving to the Camperdown campus in 2021. We've started the transition, and in some degrees and semesters, students will have classes at both Cumberland and Camperdown campuses. Classes will be timetabled to allow students to come to a single campus each day, where possible.
