The impact of work-from-home environments on comfort and productivity

A research study about occupants’ thermal adaptive behaviour in working-from-home settings.

You are invited to take part in a research study about occupants’ thermal adaptive behaviour in working-from-home settings. The aim of this project is to establish an empirical basis to better understand occupants’ thermal comfort and behaviour in the residential context. The outcomes of this project will provide evidence-based recommendations for the mandatory Australian Housing Energy Rating Scheme (NatHERS).

The study will last 9 months after the initial meeting and sensor installation. During this period, (1) you will receive SMS messages pointing to our online comfort questionnaire and (2) indoor environmental measurements will be recorded throughout the 9 months. The online questionnaire generally takes less than one minute to complete and the indoor environmental monitoring is completely automatic and will not require any attention from you.
