Established in 2024, this Scholarship has been generously funded by the Faculty of Engineering to recognise and acknowledge the academic performance of students enrolled in a coursework degree in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sydney.
a. Established in 2024, this Scholarship has been generously funded by the Faculty of Engineering to recognise and acknowledge the academic performance of students enrolled in a coursework degree in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sydney.
a. Applicants must be currently enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or a postgraduate coursework degree (including combined degrees) in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sydney, unless applicants are enrolled in their last semester and have less than a full-time study load remaining to complete their course.
b. Applicants must have completed full-time study in their degree (including combined degrees) in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sydney, in their previous semesters.
c. Applicants must have achieved and maintained a weighted average mark (WAM) of at least 75 up to and including their last semester.
a. The Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit based on the highest WAM.
b. The Scholarship will be awarded by the Associate Dean (Education), Faculty of Engineering, or their nominated delegates.
a. The Scholarship is valued at $3,000 and will be paid as a one-off payment on receipt of the Scholarship Acceptance form.
b. Deferral and/or suspension of the Scholarship is not permitted, and it is not transferable to another University school, faculty or university.
c. The Scholarship will be offered subject to the availability of funds.
d. No other amount is payable.

a. The Scholarship will be terminated if the recipient:
I. withdraws from an eligible course, or
II. is determined by the University to be guilty of serious misconduct, including, but not limited to, having provided false or misleading information as part of their Scholarship process.
b. Once the Scholarship has been terminated, it will not be reinstated unless due to University error.
c. Where a student is found guilty of serious misconduct or the Scholarship is terminated under any instance in the Termination Clause of these terms and conditions, the University reserves the right to request that any Scholarship funds paid to the Scholarship recipient be reimbursed.
