Benefits

The Scholarship will provide a stipend allowance of $42,440 per annum for up to 1.75 years, subject to satisfactory academic performance.

If a successful applicant converts from a Masters by Research to a PhD, the Scholarship may be converted to provide a stipend allowance of $42,440 per annum for up to 3.5 years, subject to additional approval by the Associate Dean (Research Education), Faculty of Medicine and Health and funding availability.

Who's eligible

You must:

  • be a domestic student
  • be willing to apply for admission, have an offer of admission or being currently enrolled to study full-time in a Masters by Research within the Faculty of Medicine and Health at the University of Sydney
  • be willing to conduct research in problematic literature reviews in molecular cancer research.

Background

This Scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to a Masters by Research student who is undertaking research in problematic literature reviews in molecular cancer research.

This Scholarship is funded by a National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) grant.
