Join us for a 1 hour workshop where we will review the purpose and nature of the Early Feedback Task. We will briefly examine Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for learning and some guidelines for writing quality MCQs before we jump into using the Cogniti MCQ assistant. You will have time to practice using the agent to produce questions specifically for your teaching area. 

 

Workshop Outline: 

This workshop is for you if you need to: 

• Write strong MCQs ideal for the Early Feedback task or other quizzes. 
• Want to use the Cogniti AI MCQ Assistant. 
• Revisit how set up a Canvas Quiz.    

 

Learning goals: 

• Understand the components of a strong MCQ  
• Understand the role of the Early Feedback Task 

We will cover: 

Research on writing quality multiple choice questions

• Using Artificial Intelligence and the new Cogniti agent to write your questions
• Quiz set up in Canvas - individual guidance
