Design Computing Student's Work on Apple App Store

20 November 2012

Third-year Bachelor of Design Computing Student Ronan Brett has today unveiled the new Design Computing End of Year Festival iPad app, available through iTunes and the App Store

The app, titled 'Organised Cacophony', highlights the student works that will be presented this year in conjunction with the Rocks Popup Festival.

"In less than two months, I learnt how to make an iPad app - I'd never coded in that language before," Brett said.

"My lecturers were very helpful and provided advice on design elements, user interaction and gave me the freedom to work independently and with support from Apple."

The app was developed as an independent study unit, a study option that enables Bachelor of Design Computing students to apply their skills to a project of their choice.

You can download a copy of the App from iTunes or from an iPad

The End of Year Exhibition opens this Thursday with a launch party at 6:00pm. The exhibition continues until 6 December 2012. Check the Organised Cacophony site for more information.
