Faculty chosen as Australian component of international Facilities Management project
28 March 2013
The International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) has selected one of our Faculty's master students, Bibiana Uzabeaga, as the Australian representative for an international Facilities Management project.
Bibiana studies the Faculty's Master of Design Science (Facilities Management). She has been chosen to contribute Australian data to a project coordinated by EuroFM and IFMA Spain. The project, 'Facilities Management International Profiles Definition Study' will look at the boundaries of the Facilities Management profession, and attempt to provide clarity on how Facilities Management is practised around the world.
Ashak Nathwani, Honorary Associate and Lecturer in Mechanical Services, says that this project will involve our Faculty in international projects and contribute further exposure to our substantial work in Facilities Management.
Bibiana will work alongside international contemporaries for three months, coordinating her research with a central team based in Madrid, Spain.
The Faculty congratulates Bibiana on her involvement in this project and anticipates a rewarding collaboration with our international peers in the field of Facilities Management.
