2007 Jean and Andrew Wong Research Scholarship - $7000
Mr Yizhi Hu
Mr Hu is a student in the Urban and Regional Planning and Policy discipline, supervised by Professor Ed Blakely. His research is a comparative analysis of three Pacific Rim metropolises, Sydney, San Francisco and Shanghai. It is hypothesised that in an info-global era, the nature of the CBD is changing, and that the CBD's future lies in its diversified qualities to be globally competitive.

2007 Henry J Cowan Research Scholarship - $7000
Mr Abul Mozammel Mridha
Mr Mridha is a student in the Environment Behaviour Studies research group, supervised by Emeritus Professor Gary Moore. His research working title is "The relationship between residential satisfaction and apartment living: A case study in the Dhaka Metropolitan Area, Bangladesh." This aims to identify the major components of residential satisfaction and examines their effect for residents in medium to high density residential areas.
