Screen Studio Film Night showcases student work

3 November 2010

Post Graduate students from the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Planning will be exhibiting multi-channel video installations as part of their major projects this Semester.

The work comes from the Interaction Design and Electronic Arts (IDEA) Master's program.

The Screen Studio provides students with the conceptual, theoretical and practical knowledge and skills needed to produce screen-based video artwork. The Screen Studio students are introduced to film techniques, film and genre theory and the production process from brainstorming ideas through to post production.

The Interaction Design and Electronic Arts program is unique in Australia, blending computing with humanity. Students come from creative, technical and communications background, but share a passion for human-centric design.

The exhibition will be open for one night only, Thursday 4th November 2010 from to 6.00-9.00pm, and will be held in The Sentient Lab and Architecture Lecture Theatre 2, within the Wilkinson Building.
