2011 Architecture Revue launches Nineteen Eighty Floor
22 August 2011
Freshly baked for 2011 the Architecture Revue Club presents to you the comic feast of Nineteen Eighty Floor.
Serving a delightful entree of sketch comedy and topical humour before the main course: a futuristic romp through a world with no space in which the Mastertect plots, diagrams and models against architecture's exclusion from contemporary professions.
The Architecture Revue has enjoyed a strong tradition of topical humour dating back to the 1960's, and this year aims to take the revue back to its roots: a quirky, funny, quick-witted piece of theatre that's not afraid to be a little controversial.
The strictly limited season commences on Thursday, 25 September with sessions at 7.30pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. A special matinee performance will also be held during the University of Sydney's Open Day at 2.00pm. Tickets start from $12 for Access card holders and are on sale at the Faculty (look for students selling tickets on level 2 of the Wilkinson Building) and from the Seymour Centre.
