Civil Engineering Alumni Prominent in Australia's 100 Most Influential Engineers

Engineers Australia has recently released its 2006 list of Australia's 100 most influential engineers

The list focuses on current influence. All of the 100 engineers are currently in positions of influence, either as leaders of large organisations or by virtue of their engineering expertise.

Alumni from the School of Civil Engineering feature prominently on the list:

*Chris Denney: CEO, Downer Engineering, Sydney
*John Grill: CEO of WorleyParsons, Sydney
*Greg Hancock: Dean of Engineering at The University of Sydney
*Andy Davids: Director, Senior Management Group, Hyder Consulting, Sydney
*Anthony Barry: National President of the Association of Consulting Engineers Australia (ACEA), Sydney
*Bill Crews: President of the Returned & Services League of Australia, Canberra
*John Mulcahy: Chief Executive Officer, Suncorp Group, Brisbane

Other Engineering Alumni, from other Schools in the Faculty of Engineering: George Maltabarow, David Skellern, Michael Dureau, and Frank Sartor also made the list.
