John Carter

John Carter, who was on staff in the School for many years was today awarded an AM (Member in the Order of Australia) for his services to research in Geomechanics and the civil engineering profession.

John recently moved to the University of Newcastle to take up the position of Pro-Vice Chancellor.

All John's colleagues at The University of Sydney congratulate him on this well deserved award.
