Kogarah High School Staff Development Day
25 August 2011
In July more than 70 teachers and support staff from Kogarah High School spent their day at the University for their staff development day. For some of the teachers there was nostalgia, for their own time at the University as a student.
As part of their development activities the school staff undertook a tour of the Nicholson Museum led by archeologist Dr. Craig Barker. Annette Cairnduff (Director Social Inclusion) also spoke to the group about the aims of the Compass Program and the value to which the University considers the partnerships with the school to inform and encourage students higher education participation.
