The heart of the city is again transformed for Festival First Night - an extravaganza that invites everyone to experience Sydney in spectacular and surprising new ways. All are welcome, big and small. And it's all free.

The Sydney Festival is organised independently of the University of Sydney.

The Scholars Program provides funding for talented current Yr 9 and Yr 10 students to attend the 3 day Sydney Science Experience.

Please note: this is NOT an overnight camp. Students will need to make their way to and from the university each day of the camp.

HSC Physics made accessible for students and teachers. Get inside the experiments, including Generators, Cathode ray tubes and the Wilson cloud chamber. See the experiments of Hertz, Lenz, J.J. Thompson, Einstein and more. All in the setting of a real Physics Lab in the historic Physics Building at the University of Sydney.

This annual conference focuses on issues and developments in the provision of quality education for students K-12 who experience difficulties learning in a mainstream classroom setting. Areas addressed will include literacy and numeracy, accountability and assessment, behaviour management and social skills instruction.

Participants may attend this conference as a stand-alone event, or as part of the Certificate in Educational Studies (Learning Support). More information about the certificate program for 2012 will be available early in the new year.
